The idea of marketing these beautiful chairs came to fruition when an old dilapidated chair in the yard was transformed into a work of art. It wasn't long before the swing was born and all the extras were added.

The chairs truly are ski lift chairs, once used to carry millions of skiers up and over the white powdered terrain. In the last decade, these older, and yet "nostalgic" chairs have been removed to make way for the "high speed quads."

Before they are sent away to be turned into scrap metal, they are intercepted, brought home to our orphanage and nurtured back to their beautiful, and sometimes even better, old/new selves again. The idea of recycling resources that may have gone to waste or scrap makes the design that much more fun and rewarding.
